Excellent iPhone baseball sim
Baseball Superstars 2011 is a baseball simulation for iPhone that sees you vie for glory in a number of different fun modes.
You can choose to play a single exhibition match, league, full season, match play, missions, and even a home run race. The season mode in Baseball Superstars 2011 is very complete, allowing you to manage your team, set training schedules and make transfers. The game includes a player edit mode, where you can change the names.
Baseball Superstars 2011 is very easy to pick up and play. Batting and pitching are both controlled with an on-screen joypad and action buttons, and a series of helpful tutorials will walk you through the intricacies of the game. That said, mastering Baseball Superstars 2011 is pretty tough, and it's much harder to hit home runs or not get caught out than it was in Baseball Superstars 2010.
The cartoony presentation of Baseball Superstars 2011 is colorful and fun, reminiscent of great Nintendo sports sims of old. One particularly nice touch is the inclusion of force feedback when batting, meaning that the iPhone vibrates when you make contact with the ball.
Baseball Superstars 2011 is a challenging and fun baseball game that is easy to lose yourself in.

Could be better.
While I like Baseball Superstars 2011, there are a couple of problems with it. Namely if you purchase it you will be hit up to buy G-Points for in-game items. While you could put up with this in a free app, it really is a negative for a paid one.The second problem involves the RPG nature of the game. While it is somewhat enjoyable at times, the messages you get from fellow players or the coach don't make a lot of sense. Also the names of pitches are bizarre, and the prices you pay for items is super inflated. Also your player tends to get tired and falls prone to illnesses which cost time to rest and money to heal in the hospital. All of which keeps you from improving between games. All in all, I would rate this a 7 out of 10. It could be better.
Pros:
Fun baseball game
Pitching and Hitting, lots of game modes
Cons:
G-Points (insert real money for in-game items)
Japanamation RPG Elements
